Job summary

VOAMI Michigan is seeking a part-time dock associate to support donation intake and warehouse tasks in Lansing, MI. duties include unloading donations, loading purchases, and maintaining winter/ice safety at the dock area.

The role requires physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, with basic knowledge of donation policies and proper use of equipment. On-site work with VOAMI Michigan's team in a dynamic retail/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to load and unload trucks safely.
• Ability to use carts, lift gates and other equipment.
• Knowledge of store donation policies and procedures.
• Use and maintain radio/telephone and other company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect donations to ensure compliance with store policies.
• Assist customers with unloading donations or loading purchases into their vehicles.
• Perform general labor at the warehouse.
• Shovel snow, remove ice and salt affected areas during winter months.
• Maintain compliance with VOAMI Michigan policies and procedures.

SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for performance of dock operations, but completes tasks assigned in all areasof store and warehouse not covered by cashiers, production, or repair personnel
