Cash-Wa Distributing in Nebraska seeks a Night Dock Worker / Loader to efficiently load pallets and boxes into trailers, ensuring correct order and secure transport. Responsibilities include reviewing load sheets, organizing pallets by route, loading in reverse order for deliveries, and ensuring loads are secure.

Must lift up to 65 lbs, use a pallet jack, and verify temperatures. Experience with trailer loading/unloading is preferred; shift is nights with ~45–50 hours/week.

Dock Worker / Loader (Nights)If you want a job that keeps you busy and like puzzles, then this job is for you! We are a busy warehouse that is divided into Dry, Cooler, and Frozen areas which you could rotate working in. Loaders play an essential role in the warehouse to transportation process in ensuring customer satisfaction.Purpose: The primary goal is to quickly, correctly, and securely load pallets and boxes into trailers so that when the route driver unloads at various stops there is no need to dig for products. Need strong attention to detail to ensure all items are loaded and in the correct order.Hours: Sunday-Thurs; 4:30pm start time, roughly 45-50/week.Wage: $20.50Duties and ResponsibilitiesShift starts with receiving and reviewing the load sheets which dictate what needs to go on the truckIn preparation of the night shift picking the loads for that night’s trucks, will arrange the pallets and boxes picked by days in order of routes to effectively add in the correct spot with the night orders.Using a pallet map of the trailer, will load products onto the trailerMust load in reverse order of stops so that the pallet for delivery #1 is by the back doors for easy access for the driverNeeds to correctly place pallets and boxes from the day shift pickers next to or on top of the pallets for the same stops from the night shift which requires regular lifting and moving of boxes up to 25lbs and hand stacking or placing onto the trailerEnsure all boxes and pallets for that truck are loadedWatch for correct placement of products in relation to the bulkhead which separates frozen from cold, from dry products; incorrect placement can result in wilted product and rejected productsSecure the load – ensure that the products are stable and will not shift or roll around the trailer during transport, this includes security load locksFinal load checksWill scan temperature tubes and ensure at the correct temperature for productsTake a picture of the loadWill notify the shag driver that the load is completeExperienceTrailer loading/unloading experience preferredPallet jack experience preferredWarehouse experience helpfulPhysical Requirements:Ability to regularly lift up to 65lbsBenefits:Immediate: Eligible for Paid holidays30 days: Discounted product rates60 days: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance eligibility, 2 PTO days, company paid life insurance90 days: Eligible to contribute to 401k plan180 day: 2 PTO days1 year: 401k match eligibility, 8 PTO days, Company paid Short-Term DisabilityRequired Education:High school or equivalentCash-Wa Distributing is a strong, stable and financially smart company.
