Job Description

Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers to transport a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment. They are also expected to operate mobile technology effectively and complete all required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers for transporting various cargo.
• Operate mobile technology efficiently.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Prepare freight for transit.
• Move cargo, operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other freight handling equipment.
• Participate in equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Note: Duties and schedules may vary depending on the terminal location.

Requirements

• This is a casual position; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on an as-needed basis is required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Stable work history and a good safety record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a post-offer physical.
• Shift hours vary by location and may include days, nights, and weekends; ability to work the required hours is a minimum requirement.
