Job summary

SECO - Southeast Consolidators in Garland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely sort freight and prepare accurate loads for outbound trailers. You will tally goods with care and help maintain organized loading areas.

This role requires 1–2 years related experience, familiarity with shipping practices, and the ability to read and write English. You’ll work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and must adhere to safety policies.

• Performs required administrative tasks, for inbound unloading and outbound loading.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.
• Secure freight for transit.
• Being able to operate air compressor for airbag usage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Working Conditions

• Continually required to stand.
• Continually required to walk.
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry more than 50 pounds.
• Continually exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather).
• Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Continually loud noise.
• First shift: 7 am - 2 pm or until, Tuesday through Saturday; on an as needed basis

Must be able to execute all the above functions and meet all the above demands safely, posing no threat to themselves or those around them while doing so, and must willingly comply with applicable safety regulations in the completion of all work.
