Overview

Sullivan Tire, an employee‐owned company, is seeking a Dock Worker. The Dock Worker will efficiently and accurately unload, stack, load, and weave tires on and off company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently unload tires from company vehicles onto pallets following best practice standards and company procedures.
• Verify and confirm that the paperwork and physical inventory are identical.
• Assist in safely loading outbound product onto company vehicles following best practice standards and company procedures.
• Operate company equipment including forklift and pallet jack safely.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Follow all operational procedures to protect our assets.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other distribution related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certified.

Skills / Knowledge

• Commitment to teamwork, a positive attitude, and customer focus.
• Understand the importance of being accountable.
• Physically demanding work: able to lift 150 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
