Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Seward, NE seeks a Dock Supervisor to oversee receiving operations, schedule dock activities, and manage a small team. You will ensure safe handling of products, proper labeling, and compliance with HACCP and SSOP standards while coordinating with the plant manager and fishermen.

The role requires experience with forklift, crane, and hoist equipment, one year minimum, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with crane, hoist, and forklift operation.
• Knowledge of basic knots and line splicing.
• Minimum one year related experience and/or training.
• Prior experience with HACCP, COOL Act, or other food safety programs.
• HACCP or other Food Safety certification.
• Fork-Lift Certification

Responsibilities

• Schedule dock appointments for receiving of product.
• Direct dock activities; coordinate staff scheduling to meet docks’ needs.
• Maintain and enforce dock safety rules.
• Oversee all APC receiving.
• Ensure HACCP and SSOPs are met and enforce standards of sanitation and product handling.
