Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Plainfield, IN is hiring multiple Dock Operations Clerks to support shipping and office coordination. The role is hourly, with a 1st and 2nd shift availability and a 40-hour workweek.

We are immediately hiring multiple Dock Operations Clerks in Plainfield, IN for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

• Pay Type: Hourly
• Annual Salary Pay: $21.50 an hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st and 2nd shift available (must be flexible)

Summary

Under general supervision, the Shipping/Office Coordinator performs clerical functions including shipment bills of ladings, receiving, classifying, reconciling consolidating and summarizing of documents and information. Maintains records or logs. Verifies completion and accuracy of information. Sets up and maintains files and records.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate and schedule shipments with freight carriers and couriers
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and paperwork for both domestic and international locations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities.
• Coordinate and prioritize outbound shipments with production personnel.
• Ensure company safety policies and regulatory requirements are met at all times.
