Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a loading dock associate to hand load and unload windows and doors for outbound loads and internal transfers. You will stage products, meet safety standards, and train new hires while contributing to on-time deliveries across multiple locations.

The role requires 1 year of related manufacturing experience, forklift operation, and the ability to lift 50–75 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable environment.
Minimum of one year forklift operation experience.
Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to manifest and quality standards.
Unload and stage windows/doors in correct dock locations per safety standards.
Load/unload trailers at 150 cube/hour or greater per standards.
Use tugger to move products from production lines and place carts in staging lanes; scan lanes on delivery.
Train new hires on loading/unloading procedures per quality and safety standards.
Present and discuss metrics on the T2 board and communicate with teams as needed.
Troubleshoot dock issues (material shortages, quality concerns).
Back up dock lead when required, including audits, manifest closure, and PvA board updates.
Adhere to Cornerstone Core Values and participate in safety culture (STOP/CALL/WaIT).
Support departmental 5S initiatives and attendance guidelines.
