Job summary

Amazon in MA, Stoughton is hiring Ship Clerks to manage daily department duties such as load planning, load flow control and trailer utilization. You will assign tasks, direct staff, and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure safety, quality and on-time performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with shipping companies, handling software for shipping, and optimizing dock operations while maintaining SOP compliance and supporting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping with multiple companies and contacts.
• Use shipping software to ship and track packages.
• Plan trailers and dock assignments to optimize utilization.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve errors.
• Monitor on-time dock performance and load quality.
• Communicate with Transportation teams about driver issues and yard moves.
• Support safety procedures and SOP compliance.
• Assist in daily production and workflow optimization.
• Participate in safety initiatives and reporting.
