Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with two or more years of driving experience.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required; clean MVR.
• Good working knowledge of general vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrated proficiency working on computers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dock workers and route drivers; able to run routes from dock or plant; notify drivers of instructions.
• Check customer route tickets weekly to ensure proper service; handle customer complaints until Customer Service can contact.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of dock and equipment; keep grounds clean and free of damaged containers.
• Operate assigned company vehicle; maintain cleanliness; report mechanical/operational problems; may maintain DOT log book.
• Maintain professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervision of route drivers; able to run routes out of dock or plant; notifies drivers of special instructions.


• Checks customer route tickets each week ensuring proper service to customers; able to service customer complaints until Customer Service Representative can make contact.


• Responsible for cleanliness and proper operation of dock and equipment; keeps grounds clean and clear of damaged containers.


• Operates assigned company vehicle and maintains cleanliness; reports any mechanical or operational problems to vehicle supervisor immediately; may be required to maintain DOT log book.


• Maintains quality customer service by being professional and courteous at all times.


• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a least 21 years old with two or more years of driving experience.


• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required; clean MVR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior supervisory and route driver experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.


• Frequently required to lift up to 10 lbs.


• Occasionally required to push, pull, move, or lift up to 100 lbs.


• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in a company vehicle, plant/dock location and on outside property.
