Job summary

Levin Furniture in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload/load, wrap, move, and stage merchandise while assisting the design team with replenishing displays. You will support customer pickups and ensure safe handling and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or with relevant experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Basic reading, comprehension and numerical reasoning abilities.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Proficient with basic computer skills; GERS or similar system experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, wrap, unwrap, move, lift and stage merchandise.
• Assist Design team with receipt and placement of products to replenish displays.
• Assist with customer pick-ups.
• Practice safe material handling methods and proper merchandise distribution.
• Practice safe loading methods to prevent damages.
• Generate documents (FSR, CYCL, IST) and tag incoming merchandise; perform related tasks daily.
• Report document errors to supervisor and ensure neat, accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties including light housekeeping, grounds maintenance and painting as assigned.

*Performs the unloading, loading, wrapping, unwrapping, moving, lifting and staging of merchandise.

*Assists Design team with the receipt and placement of product as needed to replenish visual displays.

*Assists with customer pick-ups.

*Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.

*Practices safe and secure loading methods to avoid damages.

*Responsible for generating the following documents and completing all related tasks on a daily basis:

FSR, CYCL, IST incoming and outgoing, and all price tags on incoming merchandise.

*Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.

*Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.

*Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

*Other duties including but not limited to light housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and painting as assigned.

This position does not supervise others.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
