Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise route drivers and coordinate route execution.
• Review customer route tickets weekly to ensure proper service and handle complaints until Customer Service contacts customers.
• Maintain dock cleanliness and proper operation of dock equipment; keep grounds clean and clear of damaged containers.
• Operate assigned company vehicle and maintain cleanliness; report mechanical or operational problems to the supervisor; may maintain DOT logbook.
• Maintain professional customer service and assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Checkscustomer route tickets each week ensuring proper service to customers; able to service customer complaints until Customer Service Representative can make contact.

• Maintains quality customer service by being professional and courteous at all times.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior supervisory and route driving experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Frequently requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, and reaching.
• Frequently requires lifting up to 10lbs. and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or moving up to 100lbs.
• Frequent travel to off-site locations is required.
• Work is performed in company vehicles, plant/dock locations, and outdoor environments.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and others and identify potential workplace hazards.
