Job summary

A premier watercraft dealer in Lake Ozark is seeking Dock Fabrications personnel to perform maintenance and repairs on docks and assist with building new docks. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Experience in construction and ability to operate tools is preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) savings plan.

Qualifications

• Related experience preferred or construction background.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Class E driver and MO boater’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for new and used docks.
• Fabricate and build new docks.
• Clean and assist with the upkeep of the facilities.

In keeping with the mission and values of Big Thunder Marine, and the pledge to maintain our presence as the premier watercraft dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks, Our Dock Fabrications personnel perform general maintenance and repairs for new and used docks, also fabricate and build new docks. At all times the Dock Fabrications personnel work to enhance our customer service experience and create lasting relationships with our clients.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Ability to use hand tools and small power tools.
• Safely use step and extension ladders.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.
• General construction tasks.
• Must be able to bend, reach forward and overhead.
• Ability to lift and carry up to and possibly over 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions in Missouri.
• Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is recommended but not required.

Experience: Related experience preferred or construction background. Ability to operate forklift and welding experience is a plus

Computer Skills: Ability to log onto the internet on a daily basis

Certifications & Licenses: Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class E driver and MO boater’s license

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical office environment with moderate noise level when working indoors. Outdoor and marine environments may contain uneven and slippery surfaces. Noise levels may increase substantially upon interaction with watercraft.
