Job summary

Wolter, Inc. is seeking a Dock & Door Technician for our West Bend location. You will inspect, repair, and maintain loading dock equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role includes installing dock levelers and related gear, and you will receive a company van, iPad, credit card, and cell phone. We value technicians with 1–3 years of dock equipment or industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in dock equipment or industrial maintenance.
• Technical training or certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Certified to operate material handling equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair loading docks, dock levelers, dock seals, truck shelters, and overhead doors.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, air, and electrical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on dock equipment.
• Respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
• Attend service training classes to stay current on products.
• Complete service jobs and document timecards and maintenance reports daily.
• Maintain accurate service and inspection records and collaborate with warehouse teams.
• Communicate status with dispatcher and service office; keep van organized.
