Job summary

Alliance Material Handling is seeking experienced technicians to install and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and warehouse equipment. Technicians start their day from home and travel directly to customer sites, leveraging strong mechanical skills in a collaborative team environment.

We offer a work-from-home start, a take-home company truck with a gas card, tool/boot reimbursement, and comprehensive healthcare options.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with dock & door, construction, garage doors, or similar.
• Comfort working with tools, equipment, and installations.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and related equipment.
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the day.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Communicate clearly with customers on work performed and recommendations.
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned.

Our Dock & Door Technicians start their day from home and travel directly to customer sites.
