Job summary

Alliance Material Handling is seeking experienced Dock & Door Technicians to install and repair dock levelers, doors, and related equipment. You will start from home each day and travel to customer sites, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and customer communication.

Ideal candidates have mechanical experience, own tools, and a valid driver’s license. This role offers overtime opportunities, healthcare options, and an ESOP-driven, employee-owned

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Comfort working at customer sites in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and related equipment.
• Travel to customer facilities and perform service daily.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Communicate clearly with customers about work performed and recommendations.

Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, based on experience

We're looking for experienced technicians to install and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and warehouse equipment. Our Dock & Door Technicians start their day from home and travel directly to customer sites. If you have strong mechanical skills and work well in a team environment, this is a great long-term opportunity!

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and related equipment
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the day
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Communicate clearly with customers on work performed and recommendations
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned
  
  

What You Need

• Mechanical experience (dock & door, construction, garage doors, or similar)
• Comfort working with tools, equipment, and installations
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in physical environments
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
