Eastern Lift Truck Co. - Dock and Door Helper

Currently, we are seeking a Dock and Door Helper to support Western Maryland and surrounding areas. We offer tremendous opportunities for growth, competitive compensation, and benefits for individuals who want a career with a company that maintains a family feel!

Main Duties:

1. Assist the lead technician in the installation and/or repair of overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
2. Help resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy.
3. Learn troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems related to overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
4. Work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wear PPE and fall protection.

Requirements:

1. Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (preferred, but not required).
2. Welding/fabricating experience is a plus.
3. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
4. Clean driving record.
5. Customer-focused and dependable with a stable work history.

Compensation:

This position is paid hourly, with a pay range of $17.00/hr. - $20.00/hr., based on experience.
