Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field technician in Long Beach, CA to troubleshoot, service, repair and install dock and door equipment. You will perform planned maintenance, weld when needed, and maintain the service van and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, basic mechanical/electrical aptitude, and good communication skills. Technical school is preferred, and knowledge of hydraulic/electrical schematics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
