Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Service Technician to support dock and door equipment across customer sites. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment, with primary duties including welding and vehicle upkeep. A valid driver’s license and ability to operate lift trucks are required.

Qualifications

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.
