** THIS ROLE REQUIRES AUTOCAD EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH RETAIL FIXTUREs PRIOR TO APPLYING - THANK YOU**

~ A DAY IN YOUR ROLE ~

• Solution oriented to improve production efficiency and overall cost savings within the end-to-end project cycle.
• A strong knowledge of how to open existing CAD files and update/maintain effectively.
• Complete ownership of prototypes to determine issues or risks. Make modifications to refine details for future production.
• Working closely with Design, Samples and Production to improve the overall development process.
• Adding valued ideas to build efficiency within engineering.
• Lead decision maker on engineering solutions that align with our strengths.
• Self-starter in owning large complex projects. Research and find answers to questions to problem solve effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks to develop models and manufacturing drawings.
• Assist in reviewing projects from others within the engineering department. Need an eye for details.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and respective teams

~ WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM ~

• Experience in Metal Fabrication, Plastics and Acrylics, Millwork, Injection Molding - preferably in retail fixtures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in design engineering, engineering, product design, or relevant field OR a combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of design engineering or related experience
• Must know CAD and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) skills to convert ideas into models and drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
• Significant experience in product design and manufacturing.
