Job summary

Verisign is seeking a Product Management Director to craft and execute product strategy for its DNS services. The role drives market opportunity through commercialization and partners with internal teams and external partners to optimize the product portfolio.

You will cultivate ecosystem partnerships, lead product definitions, and represent Verisign at industry forums and customer engagements.

Qualifications

12+ years’ related experience.
Knowledge of product management, marketing, channel management, and product development.
Working knowledge of the Domain Name System (DNS), internet infrastructure, and the broader DNS ecosystem.
Familiarity with rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, including Agentic AI, AI platforms, developer tooling, and emerging AI technologies.
Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships with technology companies, cloud providers, service providers, domain registrars, AI vendors, or related ecosystem participants.
Existing relationships across the domain name industry, service provider ecosystem, cloud ecosystem, or AI ecosystem is a strong plus.
Experience engaging with open-source communities, IETF, standards organizations, or other industry consortia is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, engineers, and senior leadership.
Ability to operate at an operational and strategic level.
Strong business acumen, good judgment, objectivity, and accountability.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent experience, required

Responsibilities

Directs the development of product(s) or product line(s) to establish or differentiate placement within the competitive arena.
Uses broad knowledge of product capabilities and market position to expand the portfolio of products and solution options.
Manages interface with product development and research to create products and validates early definitions with customers.
Builds and maintains strategic relationships across DNS, AI, cloud, service providers, and domain ecosystems to identify partnerships and accelerate adoption.
Monitors technology trends, competitive offerings, standards evolution, and industry events to identify new opportunities and risks.
Represents Verisign externally as a product lead by presenting at customer engagements, industry conferences, standard bodies, and technical forums.
