Rutgers University School of Nursing in Newark, NJ, seeks a non-tenured track DNP Core Faculty to teach DNP Core Courses across tracks. The role emphasizes teaching excellence, scholarship, and mentorship of DNP students, with start-up packages available and competitive salaries.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical expertise within the Division of Advanced Nursing Practice, offering courses on campus and online as needed, while supporting the School's mission and education

Qualifications

• DNP, PhD, or other doctorate degree (doctorate in progress may be considered).
• Eligibility for appointment at least at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor non-tenured track.
• Experience with project planning, quality improvement, data management, evidence translation.
• Outstanding writing skills.
• Experience with in-person and online teaching.
• Ability to mentor graduate students.
• Interest and demonstrated expertise in teaching identified courses that complement the programs of study at the School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach within the Doctor of Nursing Program (DNP) Core Courses for students across tracks.
• Demonstrate commitment to advance nursing practice through teaching excellence, scholarship and advisement/mentorship of DNP students.
