Job summary

Twist Bioscience Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Associate - Kitting (Temp) to join the Wilsonville, OR team. The role focuses on producing DNA and plasmid products in a high-throughput, automated lab, following SOPs in a cleanroom setting.

You will operate equipment like Hamilton Stars and thermocyclers, perform PCR, DNA quantitation, and cloning, and maintain thorough documentation to support daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-throughput laboratory manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and/or laboratory settings is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.
• Proficient with Excel/Word and basic software; quick to learn new tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality custom products in a fast-paced lab following SOPs.
• Operate lab equipment and liquid handling robots and sequencing tools.
• Apply molecular biology techniques such as PCR, DNA quantitation, and cloning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update work instructions as needed.
• Work independently and safely while adhering to GMP/ISO practices.
• Assist with troubleshooting and deviations; prepare products for shipping.
