Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking Manufacturing Associates for contract-to-hire roles with a biotech company in Wilsonville, OR. Pay rate is $21/hour with onsite work schedule listed below.

Responsibilities include manufacturing high-throughput oligo products, operating automated lab equipment, and maintaining thorough batch records. Ideal candidates have a biology/chemistry background and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry preferred, but relevant lab experience will be considered.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is familiar.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort using computers for manufacturing tasks; experience with Excel and Word, Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality custom oligo-containing products in a high-throughput MFG lab per SOPs.
• Operate robotic and traditional lab equipment (bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, HPLCs, NGS).
• Document thoroughly in batch records and databases; record problems and deviations.
• Update and write work instructions and documentation.
• Work independently and safely with attention to process consistency.
• Address process deviations and troubleshoot issues.
• Package products and maintain lean manufacturing standards.
