Job summary

The State of Connecticut’s Division of Scientific Services seeks a Forensic Science Examiner 1 in Meriden, CT, to focus on DNA analysis within the Forensic Biology/DNA Section. The role conducts full-process examinations in collaboration with lab professionals and law enforcement partners.

This is a full-time onsite position, with a standard 40-hour week. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Forensic Science, chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology, or closely related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Forensic Science, chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology or closely related field.
• Experience with DNA analysis or forensic biology is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to quality standards.
