📍 This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

The Application Administrator II is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and optimization of the Credit Union’s Fiserv DNA core processing system and related enterprise, lending, and third‑party applications. This role ensures the stability, security, and effective use of DNA to support member services, lending, deposits, payments, and regulatory compliance. Provides advanced technical support, serves as an escalation point for the Service Desk, and participates in system upgrades, releases, integrations, and organizational projects. This role supports after‑hours processing, core upgrades, and critical system events as needed.

  • Administer, configures, and support the Fiserv DNA core system, including parameters, products, workflows, user security, and interfaces.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for DNA‑related issues impacting deposits, lending, payments, member accounts, and daily processing.
  • Support and coordinate DNA releases, patches, upgrades, and testing cycles, including regression and UAT testing.
  • Maintain and audit DNA security roles, entitlements, and user access in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor core processing jobs, batch schedules, and system activity; investigates and resolves processing exceptions.
  • Acts as Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalation for Service Desk incidents related to DNA and integrated applications.
  • Work closely with Fiserv support and third‑party vendors to resolve core system defects and performance issues.
  • Support and participate in monthly, quarterly, and year‑end processing, including statement cycles and regulatory reporting.
  • Assist with DNA disaster recovery testing, business continuity planning, and system resiliency.
  • Collaborate with Lending, Operations, Finance, Digital Banking, and Compliance teams to ensure DNA configuration aligns with business and regulatory needs.
  • Supports DNA‑integrated applications such as:
    • Digital banking platforms
    • Lending systems (e.g., MeridianLink)
    • Imaging and document management systems
  • Design and recommend improvements to DNA configuration, workflows, and integrations to improve efficiency and member experience.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for DNA configuration, processes, procedures, and support runbooks.
  • Provides training and knowledge transfer to Service Desk and business partners as needed.
What You Bring 🎯
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 8‑10 years similar or related experience in application administration within a financial institution or other highly regulated environment required.
  • Hands‑on experience administering Fiserv DNA as a core processing system in a production banking or credit union environment required.
  • Experience supporting core banking operations, including deposits, lending, payments, and batch processing required.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, managing releases, and supporting system integrations required.
  • Credit Union–specific experience (vs. bank‑only environments).
  • Experience supporting DNA‑integrated platforms, such as:
    • Digital banking systems
    • Lending platforms (e.g., MeridianLink)
    • Imaging and document management systems
  • Experience supporting core conversions, major DNA upgrades, or merger/integration activities preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Fiserv DNA core configuration, security, and processing preferred.
  • Understanding of core banking concepts: deposits, loans, interest calculations, fees, statements, and regulatory impacts.
  • Experience with third‑party integrations and data flows connected to DNA.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, OnBase, digital banking platforms, and automation tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, and system monitoring.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to support critical processing events and handle time‑sensitive issues calmly and accurately.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Industry‑recognized technology or application certifications required 2 years
  • SQL or database administration
  • Application administration or enterprise systems certifications or equivalent combination of training and experience)
  • Completion of Fiserv‑provided DNA training relevant to application administration, core processing, security, or operations.
  • Experience participating in Fiserv DNA release training, upgrade preparation, or client workshops.
  • Financial institution‑related application or systems certifications.
