Job summary

The Salvation Army in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Production Supervisor to lead our warehouse production team on site. This role oversees the production of all donated goods, routing of tickets, pickups and deliveries, pricing, and dock disposal, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will supervise employees and beneficiaries, ensure dock security, and drive as needed. A high school diploma and at least two years of supervisory warehousing experience plus forklift certification are

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in warehousing or production.
• Experience in a rehabilitation environment.
• Able to operate basic computer software and office equipment.
• Proficient with the English language (reading, writing and comprehension).

Responsibilities

B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

D. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• 1. Must possess a valid Nevada Class C Driver License, and ability to drive vehicles in The Salvation Army’s fleet


• 2. Must be 21 years or older.


• 3. Complete The Salvation Army vehicle course training.


• 4. OSHA forklift certified

E. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis


• 2. Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects

• 5. Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs.
