Job summary

A structural steel fabrication company is seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager to oversee commercial steel projects across the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of project management experience in miscellaneous metals or a relevant degree and 2+ years of experience. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse project stakeholders effectively. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in miscellaneous metals for a steel fabricator/erector.
• Or, a degree in architecture, construction management, or civil/structural engineering plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (Citizen or Green Card holder).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with detailers to track drawing progress.
• Perform field measurements and site visits.
• Manage coordination with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee production schedules and material delivery.
• Lead change order pricing and negotiation with contractors.
• Resolve field issues and drive project completion.
• Support cost estimation and financial tracking.
