Job summary

CEG Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Commissioning Engineer & DMV Practice Lead to establish and grow a commissioning practice in the Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland region. You will lead high-impact projects, win and grow client relationships, and develop a regional team to deliver energy and commissioning services for federal building projects.

You will work as both a technical leader and the face of the DMV practice, driving business development, proposal development, and staff

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of work experience in commissioning including leadership of projects and staff.
Proven track record as a seller-doer with established DMV market relationships.
Active ANSI-accredited commissioning certification (e.g., CxA, CCP, or equivalent).
Demonstrated excellence in communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Win and grow the DMV region's commissioning book by building relationships with owners, agencies, and A/E and contractor partners, leading proposal development and project interviews.
Lead commissioning projects and mentor staff, setting technical and quality standards for the practice.
Review drawings, specifications, and product data to ensure alignment with the owner's intent and deliverables.
Coordinate with project teams to resolve issues and keep work moving.
Represent the firm as the senior client contact and account owner, spotting follow-on opportunities.
