About The Team And The Role

Caramel is thrilled to be joining the eBay group of companies. We are a car checkout platform that makes private party and independent dealer sales simple and safe, now under the eBay portfolio. We hire talented, driven people and enable them to flourish. We are hiring for exceptional DMV Operations Specialists to join our Title & Registration team, facilitating independent car sale transactions to provide buyers and sellers with a smooth, white-glove experience.

What You Will Accomplish

• Communicate effectively with state agencies regarding title & registration related matters
• Develop & utilize knowledge of 50 states DMV processes related to title and registration, ensuring compliance
• Leverage expertise to resolve complex transaction issues
• Maintain and influence Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency and effectiveness
• Contribute to smooth customer experiences, delivering white-glove service

What You Will Bring

• Experience with DMV operations within the automotive industry
• Knowledge of purchase and sale documentation and related processes
• Automotive industry experience and terminology knowledge
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn relevant software and Microsoft Office
• Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions, employing a consultative approach
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (a plus)

Where & When You Will Work

• Remote from the United States
• Monday - Friday schedule aligned with Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern US time zones

The salary range varies by state: AZ - $28/hr; NV, IL, TX, MD - $30/hr. Compensation may include bonuses, stock units, and benefits such as medical, financial, PTO, and parental leave. Details will be provided upon offer.
