Job summary

HHM Hotels in the DMV area seeks an Area Director of Marketing to lead strategic development, positioning, and execution of marketing programs across the DMV portfolio.

This role partners with senior marketing leadership, General Managers, and revenue teams to drive market share, revenue, and brand visibility for independent properties and branded assets, with on-site responsibilities in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Hospitality preferred.
• 5–7+ years in hospitality/travel marketing with multi-property portfolio experience.
• Experience managing agency relationships, large budgets, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual marketing strategies and budgets for the DMV portfolio.
• Lead cross-property campaigns and agency partnerships to grow market share.
• Oversee PR activations, events, and branded content.
• Monitor performance, ROI, and web analytics for leadership reviews.
