The Apprentice Control Equipment Technician (CET) role at the Milliken Duncan M. Stewart facility in LaGrange, GA is an entry-level technical position designed to develop skills in industrial electrical maintenance and control systems. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and engineers to learn how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automated production equipment. This role combines structured on-the-job training with hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The apprentice will progressively build competence in electrical systems, industrial controls, and safety practices while supporting plant operations and reliability goals. Work hours are flexible while in school.
Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under supervision.
