Illinois Central College aims to hire Adjunct Faculty for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS) Program to teach and coordinate learning opportunities across Abdominal, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Vascular concentrations. The role reports to the DMS Program Director and requires Illinois residency at hire.

Qualifications

• Earned Associate's Degree as a minimum credential.
• Current documented credential specific to area of concentration (Abdominal, Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Vascular).
• Two years' clinical experience as registered sonographer in professional sonography field, specific to concentration area.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program director and faculty to develop syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
• Participate in faculty meetings to evaluate and revise curriculum and learning activities.
• Maintain student attendance records and gradebooks in Canvas with rubrics and feedback.
• Support student success by referring to academic resources and services as needed.
• Schedule may include day, evening, in-person, online, or off-campus instruction.
