Job summary

Synapse Health is seeking a Specialist, Qualifications for the Customer Connect Center. The role focuses on reviewing and validating medical documentation to ensure orders meet payer and regulatory requirements before fulfillment.

You will interact with physician offices to obtain and verify clinical information and ensure compliant DME processing. This onsite position is based in Brentwood, TN, requiring close collaboration with referral sources and internal teams to maintain documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare equipment or DME.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with high-volume documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication with providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming referrals and obtain all required clinical documentation within timelines.
• Review and maintain orders and documentation in EMR and document management systems.
• Coordinate precertification and recertification for DME.
• Apply payer guidelines to determine documentation needs and authorization eligibility.
• Audit patient files for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Identify gaps and obtain clarifications from referral sources.
