Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Security Engineer II, Cyber Operations, to strengthen the DLP program across email, cloud, and endpoints. This hybrid role requires monitoring, investigation, policy administration, and coordination with stakeholders to protect sensitive data in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline or security certifications relevant to the role.
• Minimum three (3) years of mid-level Cybersecurity experience at analyst/engineer level.
• Healthcare IT/Security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and improve DLP technologies and workflows.
• Triage and investigate DLP and data-protection alerts across email, cloud, and endpoints.
• Coordinate DLP incident response with Cyber Operations and partners.
• Develop, maintain, and refine DLP policies, rules, and runbooks.
• Analyze alerts and improve policy effectiveness.
