About Us: Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education and health care, training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and healthcare provider. Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was established through a unique collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice with the goal of delivering high-quality health services to the state of Georgia's justice‑involved youth in 25 facilities.
Duties to include but are not limited to: Under the general direction of the Lead Nurse – responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Guides patient teaching, nursing activities, and ancillary personnel. Also responsible for promoting a customer‑friendly environment and providing superior service to our youth, facility staff, family, and outside vendors.
