Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role emphasizes GAS2 selling, accurate parts lookup, and high service standards in a full-time capacity.

You will handle battery installations, wiper installs, and other DIY services, meet sales goals, and participate in inventory and store-opening/closing tasks. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
