Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions, part and system knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The role involves strong inventory awareness, store operations, and providing DIY services to customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installation.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Carry out key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized displays.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems.
