Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. This entry-level role emphasizes customer service, basic automotive knowledge, and proficient use of store systems.

The position can be part-time or full-time and aims to help the store reach its sales objectives. Duties include assisting customers in person and by phone, performing DIY services (battery testing, wiper installs), and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Basic automotive knowledge and parts catalog literacy.
• Ability to work on days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
