Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson in Passaic, NJ. This role supports the DIY business, helps achieve store sales goals, and performs battery installations, wiper installs, and other DIY services.

You will manage inventory, stock parts, and assist customers in-store and over the phone. The position can be part-time or full-time and requires basic automotive knowledge and friendly, effective customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve overall targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Keep store clean and organized including floors and bathrooms.
• Stock parts and assist with back stock and deliveries as needed.
