Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in the United States seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives.

The role requires solid knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, battery/wiper installations, inventory maintenance, and safe part deliveries.

Qualifications

Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
Use basic math for measurements and pricing
Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone
Meet personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales targets
Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
Maintain store product and operational standards
Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
Keep store clean and organized, including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot
Stock general and back stock items
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
Operate and use store equipment and inventory systems
Use parts lookup systems and POS to assist customers
