Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems.

This position can be part-time or full-time, with weekend shifts and a preferred fleet safety certification. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, meeting personal and store sales goals, and performing basic DIY services such as battery installations.

Qualifications

2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing.
Ability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
