Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer base, perform basic automotive services, and help meet store sales goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, parts, and inventory, with a focus on friendly customer service and accuracy.

The position may be part time or full time, with safety and driving responsibilities, and opportunities to work a variety of shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use POS and parts lookup systems for transactions and inventory checks.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Perform DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store standards and inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
