Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service objectives. The role requires basic store systems knowledge, parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

It may be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, providing DIY services (battery/wiper), maintaining inventory standards, and handling

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
