Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Florida is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives. The role has good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.

The role has the basic ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes. Position can be part time or full time.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Able to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and peers.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Ability to use store systems and perform basic duties.
• Willingness to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
