Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, provide DIY services, and help maintain inventory and service standards.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work various shifts including weekends. Prior sales experience in retail and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge.
• Ability to use store inventory and operating systems.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and more.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
