Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY customer, assist on the shop floor and over the phone, and help the store achieve its sales and service goals.

You will work with store systems, provide basic automotive part knowledge, perform services like battery and wiper installs, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards. This role can be part-time or full-time and may require weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers
• Basic automotive knowledge and safety awareness required
• English required; Spanish a plus
• Must work varied days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales goals
• Perform DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Inventory related tasks (cycle counts, back stock, etc.)
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems
• Stock parts and manage back stock
