Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and manuals.
• Use basic math in all units of measure for transactions and stock work.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
