Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business in our retail location. This entry-level role focuses on delivering a friendly selling experience, basic automotive knowledge, and effective use of store systems to serve customers both in-store and by phone.

Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of sales or customer service experience, ability to work during days, evenings, and weekends, and a commitment to safety and accuracy in inventory and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness, stocking, and safe delivery of parts to customers.
