Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with strong knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and excellent customer service.

The role is open to part-time or full-time schedules and emphasizes safety and accurate inventory handling. Responsibilities include helping customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services like battery installations, handling stock, and delivering parts when needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive system and parts knowledge.
• Ability to use store systems and parts lookup.
• English language skills; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
